Task Pigeon has a number of integrations that allow you to extend how you and your team use Task Pigeon.

As a starting point Task Pigeon has integrations with Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive and Box so that you can attach documents and files to new tasks and comments in Task Pigeon.

Task Pigeon also has an integration with Zapier, a third party tool that has a free tier, and in turn allows you to connect Task Pigeon with 1,000+ other applications you already know, use and love.

Integrating With Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive and Box

Collaborating on tasks is one of the key reasons why teams turn to Task Pigeon. As a result, its only natural to expect that you and your team have a wide variety of files you need to share and collaborate on.

Task Pigeon supports the ability to upload files from all of the major cloud providers including Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive and Box. In addition, you might want to have a look at How to use Beyond Compare to easily compare files and folders on platforms like Dropbox and synchronize them to other devices.

When you create or edit a task you will see the option to attach a file from your computer or your cloud storage provider of choice. After selecting your cloud provider you will be asked to authenticate with your account, following which you will then be able to navigate and select the file of choice. You may also wish to make use of a tool like Clean Drive for Google Drive which, among other things, can help remove duplicates from the system to prevent any wires crossing.

When you are adding a comment to an existing task in Task Pigeon you will also see this option and can follow the steps above to add an attachment to a comment.

Integrate with Zapier and Connect Task Pigeon to 1,000+ Other Tools

By far the most popular integration available in Task Pigeon is the integration we have with Zapier. Zapier is a third party tool (free account available) that uses actions and triggers to allow you to connect Task Pigeon with 1,000+ other applications you already know and love.

To get started with our integration with Zapier you will first need to head to their website and create a free account.

Following that you can view the Task Pigeon integration page on Zapier where you will see the list of actions and triggers available to you.

Task Pigeon offers the following Triggers:

  • New Task – Triggers when a new task is created in Task Pigeon
  • New Comment – Triggers when a new comment is added in Task Pigeon
  • New Category – Triggers when a new category is added in Task Pigeon

Task Pigeon then offers the following actions:

  • Create Task – Allows a task to be created
  • Create Comment – Allows a comment to be added to a task
